ABOUT

The passion I have for the work I do and the relief and freedom it can bring to my clients' lives is my fire. My goal is to help you feel comfort in your body, your heart, and your mind, as well as empower you with tools that promote self-sustainability. Acupuncture has been such a blessing in my life and I've seen it be a miracle in the lives of so many others. I want to share this gift of medicine with you. Acupuncture is an expansion and enhancement of my massage practice in that my needles do for you what my hands simply cannot. While I specialize in orthopedic acupuncture and pain management, I can help you with a large array of ailments using my continually expanding toolbox.

I began my path in body education while attending the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City in 2009. After graduating, I became a Licensed Massage Therapist with a focus on sports medicine, medical massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, and shiatsu. Within my private practice and my time working at a physical therapy office, using both Eastern and Western modalities combined, I gained considerable clinical experience working with a wide range of populations.

Since beginning my clinical acupuncture education at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in their Masters of Science degree program in 2015 and graduating in 2019, I've significantly widened the scope of tools I have to treat clients. Excelling within the orthopedic training during my coursework earned me an opportunity to intern in the athletics department at the University of California, Berkeley. I developed experience working with Olympic and collegiate athletes as their acupuncturist. Within the context of both massage and acupuncture I've worked with an expansive range of populations experiencing a variety of conditions such as TMJ, frozen shoulder, sciatica, as well as fibromyalgia, fatigue, insomnia, depression, and anxiety.

Work with me to bring greater balance and ease into your days and nights. Remember what it feels like to be comfortable in your skin. I want you to have the opportunity to enjoy life -- freed of the constraints that hold you back.
